Unfortunately, most people that attempt a multi-level marketing program often end up losing money.

And when I say most I don’t mean about half. It’s more like 90%!

Why does this happen? For the same reason that I lost money at first - I didn’t know how to “sell”,

my friends and family were not interested, I was not good at training. Actually,  I didn’t want to “sell”.

Many, if not most network marketing programs require that the user pay an initial fee. This fee is also known as an opt-in fee. People that have little or no knowledge about how network marketing works often pay this fee, and then after a little frustration quickly give up. After all, the person that recruited them has already made some money off of them.

You Must Be Mad To Think You Can Outrun A Plane !

Imagine writing an email for, say, an hour and then hitting the “send” button.
1 day later, you find you’re up $5,000 in profits and that you signed up 5 new partners, growing your business to different parts of the world you’ve never even visited before.
And that’s just from one email.

Today, I’m going to teach you how to do just that. I’m going to show you how to gain leverage with a capital L, and with it you’ll have so much power to build your business, you can literally go head to head with anyone, even the top earners. Because no matter how fast they can teach their downlines to run, all you’ll teach your downlines is how to hop on a plane.
And you can get to where you need to be a lot faster riding a plane than running, even if you’re up against the #1 runner in the world. And I mean A LOT faster. Multiply that to all you’re downline and you can fly your way to the top of your business.

The key differentiator between you and anyone else is the list you’re building.
Isn’t it funny that in network marketing they don’t teach you anything about marketing!? Marketing is all about finding the problem a market has and then handing them a solution. Would you bother your aunt that can’t stand horses and would never be caught next to one? Why go to all the trouble? How about pestering your brother in law that has no problem with horses but hasn’t seen one in the past 10 years? I’m sure he’ll jump all over those excellent horse rollerblades. Don’t you have anything else to do with your time and energy than to try and sell him on the absolute great features your horse rollerblades have? No wonder he doesn’t want to answer your calls any more.

Most marketers are doing what their uplines are telling them to do, trying to find anyone they haven’t thought of that they might put on their “list”.

After I’ll teach you how to market, you’ll be laughing at all those people making those sad lists of people that have nothing to do with your business, and have never expressed any desire to. Of course they’ll be negative. It’s a given that most will want nothing to do with you when you’re selling them on something - especially a business opportunity. It’s because of these tactics and because no one teaches what marketing is and how to build a true list, that so many people face hurdles.

When you build a true list people will join you left and right and they’ll love you for it. And the people that won’t join will still pocket you some money and they’ll be grateful for you showing them your opportunity. It’s because they’re interested in that type of thing. Which list would you rather build? If you are building the wrong list because that’s what uplines taught you, you are waisting all your energy, time and money on useless tactics. You can now sort and sift through prospects until you find those that want what you have because it solves their problem. You’re looking for people that are looking and you can find on the internet in 1 day the equivalent of 1 year’s worth of searching for those prospects the old networking way (that’s still being taught by almost every upline in every company).

Today with technology and the internet you can now build a list, funnel people on that list through a system to educate them and presell them on your business and it’s products, all the while generating some money as part of the process. And that’s before you talk to anyone about joining your business!

Anyone who has ever bought into the dream of network/multi-level marketing knows that its not perfect, myself included. I became involved with it because I loved the idea of flexibility, I wanted to supplant my primary income, I desperately needed to do something other than my previous job, I was interested in entrepreneurship I had a desire to be my own boss, I was excited by the comfort of working from home and I loved the product. I must add that I was being taught and taught well by 3 of the most successful networkers in the business - Randy Schroeder, Randy Gage and Eric Worre. But the world has changed a lot since the mid 20th century. That’s why I stopped and redirected my focus to learning online marketing. Today, in 1 day I can get my offer in front of as many people as other networkers do in a year..

What I’ll Teach My Children

What took me half a lifetime to learn, that’s so simple I think we should teach it at schools because it will better our next generations

The famous light bulb moment is a double edged sword. On the one hand something that has eluded you is suddenly crystal clear. You get it and it has a warm fuzzy feeling.

BUT

You also find out that it’s something that could have been taught to you by someone, and you could have had that information a long time ago.

That’s what happened to me when introduced to network marketing. I’m a slow learner so it took some time. But then I realised that all of the concepts I was introduced to could have been taught a long long time ago. You know, concepts such as leverage, attraction marketing, entrepreneurship, residual income. Things that I never learned at school, nor at home.

I think that’s why a lot of people read “rich dad poor dad” - these are concepts any child can be taught but most aren’t and therefore later in life we see such a difference between those that had “rich dad” learning at home and most of us that hadn’t. In my opinion the fact that all you need to do is teach it, and that it’s not that hard, resonates with people. I believe that’s why a lot of people were initially attracted to Robert Kiosaky’s books.

It’ll be a shame if we don’t understand that we have to teach our children these concepts. We already know they aren’t taught at school or at university. I believe it’s our duty to our children to teach them. At least, that’s what I’m going to make sure I do.

Forget about those big checks.

Forget about leverage and passive income.

Forget about personal development.

If nothing else, teaching these concepts to my kids is more than enough benefit for me (although I admit time freedom and no money worries are a great treat as well. As are the people you meet in the industry - a pure treat).

I was talking to Diane, a like minded networker that has two girls ages 11 and 14. Since she has older kids, she already knows that their education has been more than enough benefit for her family since being introduced to network marketing. And it’s also a huge asset to be able to teach by example because our kids can SEE us doing what we teach.

In summary, the network marketing industry has a lot more to offer than the benefits seen at first glance - I’m talking about no risk business building, more money and residual income. I for one, am greatfull to have been introduced to it and I hope more people take the time to teach others, no matter what their age, of it’s concepts. Because it will make a positive impact on the lives of both teachers and pupils.

Experts predict that as much as 40-50% of businesses will operate from home

Did you know that if you’re in your 40-50’s there’s a good chance you’ve got an illness?

And your “illness” is not covered by your medical plan. In fact, it might even get you fired

There’s a growing trend that no one is talking about in the workforce. It might not be legal to discriminate based on age, it’s not ethical and no one knows the long term implications that it will have, but the fact is that less and less companies are willing to take on older people. And “older” is getting younger. I’ve even heard a recruiting agent say, off the record, that his company has an unofficial rule not to get back to people over 40.

From an economical stand point, of course it doesn’t make sense to recruit someone one year away from his pension. It might take him most of that year to learn all he needs to be effective for that company. But how did we get from that to companies effectively not recruiting middle aged people? People that are at their peak performance, have years of effectiveness ahead of them and are loyal.

It’s a trend seen in more and more companies all over the globe. And it’s at its worst the more closer the industry to hi-tech.

There’s an invisible line between ages 40 to 50 that once you cross, you can’t find work anywhere. There are exceptions of course, but in general that’s the case. Once you cross that line, effectively you’re stuck with your company for years and years because landing a position for another company becomes an almost impossible task. Combine that with the fact that by then you’re earning more than a young graduate fresh out of college and you’re in constant threat of being fired.

Any thing you can do? Of course. There’s always something you can do. But it involves taking care of YOU. Gaining back control of your life and not leaving your livelihood in the hands of someone else. Because you can’t afford to do that. It’s too risky for you and for your family.

So what course of action can you take?

First of all, understanding your risk and deciding to act on it is the initial step. It’s the first step but also the hardest and most substantial. Once you’ve done that you’re ready to go into business for yourself.

What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? How can you add value?

Understand that you need to uncover what value you can contribute to the world because then you can earn by selling that value. In essence that’s what we all do. But we normally do it for a company earning a wage. Since that’s at risk, with higher risk every year that goes by, you’ll need to learn how to create that value unlinked to your company.

Luckily, the past decade has introduced a means for you to do just that by using the internet platform.

By far the easiest, fastest way that requires little to no investment is marketing online. All you need is a computer and internet access and you’re open for business. You don’t even need a website. And you’re looking at a market that’s hundreds of millions of people that are surfing the web 24×7 every single day of the year.

Obviously you’ll need to learn this new realm, because there’s a right way and a wrong way to do everything. There’s also an easy way and a hard way and you’ll need to learn new skills and access new information. But the rewards are well worth it.

I’m not talking about becoming a millionaire overnight, but you’re earning potential is limitless and you can earn what you used to in a matter of weeks and months.

The upside is that it’s all based on YOU. You control your success in this endeavor. And you’ll neither be limited by geography, nor by time. What that means is that you can work from anywhere at anytime. What you can also get, if done right, is leverage. So you can work smartly for half the time earning more than you would working full time without leverage. As I’ve stated, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do this.

The down side – it’s all based on YOU. If you don’t take control of your own success, no one else will.

Not everyone will succeed online, though. You first need to understand why you’re doing it. Then you need to learn a new skill set. You will also need to change your mindset from a passive employee to an active entrepreneur.

But to me, earning an income that has unlimited potential, learning new things everyday, working without geographic or timetable limitations – that to me is the way to invest more time in my family, my kids, and myself.
